Feb. 12 (UPI) — U.S. Africa Command killed not less than 12 al-Shabaab fighters in an airstrike in Somalia, the company mentioned Sunday.
The assault occurred Friday on the request of the Federal Authorities of Somalia, U.S. Africa Command mentioned. The strike was centered at a distant location southwest of town Hobyo. No civilians have been killed, in line with the report.
