MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Authorities in northeastern Somalia’s Puntland state on Sunday declared autonomy and withdrew recognition of the federal authorities led by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in response to the unanimous approval of 4 new chapters within the structure by the 2 chambers of parliament on Saturday.
In an announcement, Puntland stated it could act independently from the federal authorities and would cope with the worldwide group in pursuit of its pursuits till authorities in Mogadishu full the structure via inclusive and conciliatory method.
