MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Monday attended a ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the creation of recent republic of Turkey from the ruins of the Ottoman Empire.
Talking on the occasion held at Turkish embassy in Mogadishu, Barre “emphasised that the bond between the 2 brotherly nations extends far past financial and diplomatic ties”, his media workplace mentioned.
“He underscored shared values and a deep emotional connection, highlighting the imaginative and prescient to additional strengthen the partnership between #Somalia and #Türkiye for the forthcoming century.”
