MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somalia’s authorities stated on Thursday there is no such thing as a room for mediation with Ethiopia except Addis Ababa cancelled a memorandum of understanding with Somaliland that offers it entry to a leased land alongside the Crimson Sea.
“There isn’t any house for mediation except Ethiopia retracts its unlawful MOU and reaffirms the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia,” Somali International Ministry stated in an announcement.
It got here a day after experiences emerged that Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud had declined to fulfill with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed amid simmering tensions over the controversial sea entry deal.
