Mogadishu, (SONNA) – A high-level delegation comprising the Deputy Commissioner of the Somali Catastrophe Administration Company (SoDMA), Dr. Ahmed A. Adan, distinguished delegates from UNOCHA and FAO hailing from New York and Rome, and the esteemed George Conway, the UN DSRSG, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator to Somalia paid a go to to Dolow district in Gedo Area earlier at present.
The target of this expedition is to evaluate the humanitarian conditions within the district and its surrounding areas, with the purpose of highlighting the aftermaths of the current droughts and floods, in addition to the present scenario, to the worldwide group.
The aim of the go to is to extend efforts in implementing tasks for catastrophe restoration and resilience, in preparation for the upcoming monsoon season, which poses a possible danger of floods.
