Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Commissioner of the Somali Catastrophe Administration Company (SoDMA), Mr. Mohamud Macallin Abdulle, and the Deputy Particular Consultant of the UN Secretary-Normal for Somalia, Mr. George Conway, collectively chaired a high-level assembly in Mogadishu. The session introduced collectively SoDMA and several other United Nations businesses, together with WFP, FAO, UNICEF, IOM, UNFPA, UN Girls, UNHCR, UNDP, and UNOCHA, to strengthen catastrophe administration and humanitarian coordination within the nation.
The assembly, held on the workplace of the Humanitarian Coordinator for Somalia, targeted on aligning the operational plans of varied humanitarian organizations to enhance group resilience and improve catastrophe administration capabilities. Key discussions centered on streamlining efforts to construct the technical capability of Somali establishments and guaranteeing the supply of impactful humanitarian applications.
Either side dedicated to fostering stronger partnerships and agreed to carry coordination conferences each 4 months to keep up efficient collaboration amongst all stakeholders concerned in humanitarian and catastrophe administration operations throughout Somalia.
