The Nationwide Catastrophe Administration Company (SoDMA) and the NIS Basis have agreed to work collectively on varied points associated to local weather change, catastrophe preparedness and response, meals safety, environmental safety, emergency support and sustainable growth.
The 2 organizations signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Wednesday on the SoDMA headquarters in Mogadishu, Somalia. The MOU outlines the areas of cooperation and the roles and tasks of every companion.
The chairman of SoDMA, Mr. Mohamud Macalin Abdulle, stated that the MOU will strengthen the collaboration between the 2 entities and improve their capability to handle the present and future challenges posed by local weather change and disasters.
“The MOU will allow us to share our experience, assets and greatest practices to be able to enhance our effectivity and effectiveness in delivering our companies to the individuals of Somalia,” he stated.
The director of NIS Basis, Kassim Gabow Duale, stated that the MOU may even facilitate the implementation of modern and sustainable options to the issues confronted by the communities affected by local weather change and disasters.
“We’re dedicated to working with SoDMA and different stakeholders to develop and promote options which can be environmentally pleasant, socially inclusive and economically viable,” he stated.
