Gaalkacyo (PP Information Desk) — The Puntland-appointed Governor of the Mudug Faysal Sheikh Ali Jifa-jabsade, yesterday accused the Somali authorities of fuelling inter-clan conflicts within the area whose administrative capital district is individually managed by Puntland State and Galmudug State.
The Governor claimed that each the Federal Authorities of Somalia and terrorist teams are implicated in sowing discord amongst clans within the area. He alleged that each entities “instigate clan-based conflicts and divisions alongside clan strains.”
He additional accused the Federal Authorities of Somalia of building clan borders within the Mudug area and inciting clans by way of fabricated territorial disputes, exacerbating the continuing clan wars.
“There are a lot of entities working to create issues. They urge individuals to say territory or [district] borders that don’t exist,” stated Faysal Sheikh Ali Jifa-jabsade.
The 1993 Mudug Settlement serves as the muse for inter-clan co-existence in Mudug.
