MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Mortar shells landed on the safety perimeters of Somalia’s presidential palace in Mogadishu on Monday night, hours after the USA warned of terrorist threats to a number of places within the metropolis, together with Adan Adde Worldwide Airport.
At the least three rounds of mortar bombs struck areas in Wardhigley district in Mogadishu’s green-zone, however casualties haven’t been instantly recognized.
Safety officers haven’t but commented on the assault which comes days after authorities introduced that they might resume stalled offensive in opposition to insurgents in central Somalia.
