MOGADISHU, Somalia – The Mayor of Mogadishu and Governor of Banaadir Area, Mohamed Ahmed Amir, formally inaugurated the annual Quran Recitation Competitors for Ramadan on Tuesday within the capital.
The occasion, organized by the Banaadir Regional Administration and the Mogadishu Metropolis Council, brings collectively college students from numerous Quranic colleges throughout the districts of the Banaadir Area.
The competitors, which is held yearly throughout Ramadan, goals to encourage non secular training and honor the scholars’ efforts in memorizing and reciting the Quran.
