MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Ethiopia’s authorities on Wednesday confirmed twin automobile bombings focusing on a navy base housing its troops in south Somalia forward of deliberate offensive Addis Ababa is anticipated to launch in opposition to Al-Qaeda-aligned insurgents within the neighboring Horn of Africa nation.
“The Ethiopian Protection Forces (ENDF) stopped the attackers of their tracks earlier than they may wreak havoc,” Ethiopia’s Ministry of Overseas Affairs tweeted. “The ENDF neutralized suicide bombers and destroyed weapons for use by the terrorist group.”
