MOGADISHU, Somalia – The deputy governor of the Central Financial institution of Somalia has reiterated its dedication to combating monetary crime, saying it will proceed implementing anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) laws.
Talking on the Central Banking Spring Conferences in South Africa, Ali Yassin Sheikh highlighted latest efforts by the central financial institution to make use of new methods to counter monetary crime and encourage monetary inclusion.
