MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Al-Qaeda-linked Al-Shabaab militants on Friday attacked base housing Ugandan African Union peacekeepers in south Somalia forward of deliberate offensive by troops from neighboring international locations of Ethiopia, Djibouti and Kenya.
The militants used automobiles loaded with explosives to blast their manner into the closely fortified base within the city of Bulomareer, some 120km south of the capital Mogadishu.
