MOGADISHU (Somaliguardian) – Somaliland Nationwide Electoral Fee (NEC) on Saturday scheduled delayed presidential election for November 13 after years-long impasse over the conduct of polls, triggering tensions between the federal government and opposition events.
In a press convention held in Hargeisa, NEC chairman Muse Hassan Yusuf mentioned Waddani, Ucid and Kulmiye events will take part within the presidential vote, including that one other election shall be held on the similar time by which 10 registered political organizations will compete with the present events. Solely the highest three successful political organizations shall be chosen because the break-away area’s official political events after the vote.
