“The aerial bombardment which started at round 12:10 a.m. focused a home in Jilib, immediately killing Assel Herrera and Landy Rodriguez,” the assertion reads.
The rebel group accused the US of “intentionally focusing on the prisoners for a number of years”, claiming that US had beforehand carried out numerous different air raids in at the very least two areas with the intention of killing the medical doctors.
A Somali official, talking on situation of anonymity, instructed Anadolu Company that “we neither affirm nor deny the terrorist group’s claims.”
Al-Shabaab kidnapped the Cuban medical doctors on April 12, 2019 whereas they had been on their option to work in Kenya’s northeastern province.
